We all are always in search of something, something we already have within us all the time.
Whatever we seek whether it is Peace, Happiness, or contentment, it’s all already deep inside us.
What you seek is seeking you
A profound statement by Rumi, providing us all different and yet worthwhile way of looking at life, meanwhile teaching us to trust on our self and what truly belongs to us, our inside insight.
Everything we seek is not out there, it’s here, near us, within us.
If you want to discover what you seek, sit in stillness, at least for a moment in a day. I know even the thought of it is frightening. I am also aware of the fact that most of us don’t like sitting in silence because it’s chaotic, and there you will have to confront all the feelings, thoughts, memories, you have been trying to resist from a while, and another reason might be the fear of vanishing or losing significance.
As humans, we all want to be appreciated, approved, and heard. Most of us want to be valuable and mean something to people around us and we want them to relate to us and that’s why we talk sometimes unnecessarily and which some of us find comparatively appealing than spending some time with ourselves in silence.
Spending some time alone will help you to meet the inner real “You”. The person you are meant to be, a better and peaceful person.
I think the reason they’re so much chaos in your mind is that you have never spent some time on yourself to clarify the clusters in your mind and your thought process. In the process of some “you-time”, you will find and understand things that you otherwise wouldn’t.
Things will be simpler. And you’ll find everything that you are seeking outside was invariably within you all the time.
As in today’s world, where life is full of television and social media, it’s tough to make some out that we can spend with ourselves and listen to what our soul needs. We might miss it because we don’t have time for observing and hearing our voice.
So just like we make time for the things other things that are not so important for us. We should try to take some time for ourselves for knowing who we are.
